Page Six reported that after boarding her flight, Lyonne allegedly failed to follow multiple instructions from the crew to close her laptop and fasten her seatbelt before takeoff, and appeared to be dozing off behind her sunglasses. Though the plane taxied to the runway, the pilots made the decision to return to the gate and later reportedly told passengers that one traveler would have to be rebooked on another flight. The incident caused a delay of over an hour. After the aircraft returned to the gate, Lyonne was reportedly escorted off the plane with her belongings by a Delta gate agent.
