Nagpur: JSR Dynamics of Nagpur has played a key role in the development of Khagantak-243, an indigenously designed and developed long-range glide bomb, which Indian Air Force (IAF) has successfully tested.IAF announced the test on its official X handle, describing the release of the weapon from an aircraft as being carried out with high precision. The bomb has been developed under Atmanirbhar Bharat.JSR Dynamics’ managing director Air Marshal (Retd) SB Dev said, “Khagantak-243 will enhance the strike capability of IAF, enabling highly accurate and destructive attacks on enemy bases even from long distances. This bomb is completely indigenous. JSR Dynamics provided the bomb’s structural framework, control system, full electronics and guidance subsystem, while Bharat Electronics Ltd supplied the battery.“Discussions are underway to integrate this weapon with other aircraft of future.
