Mysuru: Property buyers and sellers faced inconvenience at the Mysuru North sub-registrar’s office over the weekend following a server outage that disrupted registration services. The issue, however, was resolved, and normal transactions resumed on Monday.With registration services affected on Friday and Saturday, many people who waited at the office from morning till evening were unable to complete their transactions and returned home disappointed. To minimise inconvenience, the department of stamps and registration kept the office functioning on Sunday to clear the backlog and facilitate pending registrations.The server failure disrupted several services, including property registration, triggering public frustration over the technical glitches.CP Nandini, senior sub-registrar, Mysuru North, told TOI that registration and related services were affected due to a statewide server issue. “However, we facilitated property owners and buyers by working on Sunday. Since Monday, transactions have returned to normal,” she said.According to the officer, the Mysuru North sub-registrar’s office handles an average of 70 property transactions every day.
