Origin Story
In 2015, the sisters and co-founders, Bianca and Paola Muns, came together with a shared vision to create high-quality, distinctive designs rooted in the philosophy of “less is more.” They began by buying and selling pieces and later moved on to designing their own handmade jewelry line, Muns. They soon built an environmentally conscious brand grounded in quality, longevity and purpose. As a Latin woman-owned small business, Muns is committed to growing responsibly and continuously refining its production methods without compromising its values or craftsmanship. Throughout the duo’s journey, the company remains 100% self-funded, growing the business through brand collaborations and pop-ups, culminating in the opening of their store in Old San Juan. The retail space and studio have become a hub for collaboration with other creatives.
Inspired by gallery spaces, the store’s interior design is modern, artful and engaging to guests and clientele. More importantly, the duo wanted to take a different approach by making a 100% local store, from the handcrafted fixtures to the merchandise.
