Hyderabad: The Special Investigation Team (SIT) probing the Moinabad farmhouse drug case are focusing on Goa as the suspected source of MDMA supplied at the party.According to officials, a Goa-based DJ, identified as Clinton, is believed to have supplied the contraband. He had earlier been booked in a drug peddling case in 2012. Police suspect that a Hyderabad-based doctor procured four MDMA pills from him and later supplied them at the farmhouse of former BRS MLA Pilot Rohith Reddy in Moinabad on March 14.Sources close to the investigation said the doctor distributed two pills during the party. One of them was allegedly consumed by TDP MP Putta Mahesh Kumar, an accused in the case, along with Namith Sharma, who is also accused of opening fire at the gathering, reportedly targeting policemen. Police teams are currently searching for the Goa-based supplier.Investigators, after questioning staff at the farmhouse, found that the doctor had handed over the drugs to Ather, driver of Koushik Ravi, a Bengaluru-based advocate and businessman. The contraband was then passed on to the watchman’s daughter, who is said to have taken it inside and handed it over to those attending the party.Meanwhile, police are continuing efforts to trace the source of cocaine that was allegedly consumed by several attendees, including the former BRS MLA. During a raid conducted by EAGLE officials on March 14 at the farmhouse, drugs were seized. Of the 11 people present at the party, six tested positive for various narcotic substances.
