Lucknow: Expressing concern over recent traffic diversions at the busy Engineering College intersection, local BJP MLA Neeraj Bora has written to the district administration, police commissioner, and municipal authorities urging a review of the new system. He said the 1 km-long diversion is causing inconvenience to commuters.Bora has proposed immediate reorganisation of the crossing with suggestions including the deployment of traffic police at the centre, reducing travel distance with temporary dividers on Ring Road, regulating e-rickshaws and autos, removing encroachments, restricting random parking and clearing street vendors from key roads. He stressed that the system must ease movement, not create chaos.
