Patna: The bodies of a 21-year-old woman, missing since Oct 5, and an unidentified man were found mutilated on railway tracks near Kumhrar, close to Rajendra Nagar Terminal on Friday.The woman was identified by her family as Shaili Rani, a BA Part-II student at TPS College and a resident of Kankarbagh. Her father, Sanjeev Kumar Prajapati, alleged that she was murdered over a Rs 10,000 loan. The family claimed she had received threats over repayment, including a call from Dubai.Shaili had left home to visit NIT on Oct 5 to fill up a form. Her family lodged a missing-person complaint on Oct 6. Investigating officer Farheen Alam said her last known location was Patna’s Marine Drive area and police were reconstructing her movements.Rajendra GRP SHO Deep Narayan Yadav said her mobile phone was recovered from the spot. However, the man’s identity remains unknown. Both bodies were sent to PMCH for post-mortem.
