Bandipora, Aug 14 (KNO): The body of a 31-year-old man who had gone missing was retrieved from Nalla Madhumati in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Friday, officials said.
An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that the body of the missing man was recovered six days after intensive search operations conducted by the SDRF, police and local volunteers.
The deceased was identified as Showkat Ahmad Gujjar (31), son of Mohammad Gulab Gujjar, a resident of Yali Bonakoot.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident and the body will be handed over to the family after completion of medico-legal formalities.—(KNO)
