Mirwaiz-e-Kashmir Dr. Moulvi Muhammad Umar Farooq, in his message on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, extended greetings to the people of Jammu & Kashmir and the Muslim Ummah.
According to statement issued here, He prayed that Allah Almighty accepts our fasts, prayers, and all acts of ibadaat performed during the blessed month of Ramadan.
The Mirwaiz said that while Eid is a day of joy and gratitude, our happiness remains incomplete as people in Palestine, Iran, and other parts of the Middle East continue to face suffering and loss of lives.
He also remembered Kashmiri prisoners lodged in jails, praying for their well-being and early release.
Urging people to observe Eid with simplicity, the Mirwaiz appealed to them to remember the poor and needy in their celebrations and to keep the entire Ummah in their prayers.
He prayed that Allah grants peace, relief, and justice to all those in distress.
