Patna: All state ministers have been directed to participate in the Nashamukt Yuva for Viksit Bharat-Sankalp Abhiyan in their respective districts on Sunday. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch the nationwide campaign through a virtual interaction with more than 20 lakh youths at over 10,000 locations across the country.A list of 210 programme venues across 20 districts has already been finalised, while district magistrates in the remaining districts have been asked to identify suitable venues.In an order issued by cabinet secretariat department special secretary Arvind Kumar Verma, personal secretaries to ministers have been directed to coordinate with district administrations and ensure the participation of ministers in charge.The youth, employment and skill development department has also issued instructions to all district magistrates to make necessary arrangements and ensure smooth conduct of the programme.The campaign aims to spread awareness about de-addiction among young people while encouraging them to contribute to the vision of a developed India.Launched under the aegis of the Union ministry of youth affairs and sports and MY Bharat, the initiative seeks to mobilise youth participation in the anti-drug movement and promote their involvement in nation-building activities.
