Chandigarh: Haryana urban local bodies minister Vipul Goel on Tuesday held a meeting of the working committee to review and approve tender rates for development and public utility projects across various urban local bodies.Issues discussed included a proposal for solid waste management for three years across the municipal corporations and municipalities of Hisar, Hansi, Barwala, Uklana, Narnaund and Siwani. Proposals for door-to-door solid waste collection in the Naraingarh and Barara municipalities were also taken up for consideration.The committee also deliberated on plans to construct a children’s park in Palwal under the Divya Nagar Scheme and set up a digital library in the former municipal committee office building in Meham.Goel sought detailed briefings from officials on execution of the projects. The meeting was attended by additional chief secretary Ashok Meena, senior officials, and chairpersons of the municipalities and local bodies concerned.
