Srinagar, Mar 14 : Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) President Mehbooba Mufti on Saturday chaired a crucial meeting with senior party functionaries here to take stock of the organisational structure and assess the prevailing political situation in Jammu and Kashmir.
According to party insiders who spoke with Kashmir News Service (KNS), the meeting, which took place at the party headquarters, featured deliberations on a range of organisational issues and future strategies aimed at reinforcing the party’s presence across the Union Territory.
Sources privy to the development informed that the participants engaged in a comprehensive review of the current political landscape and discussed matters pertaining to the administration and public welfare in the region.
During the interaction, Mehbooba Mufti is understood to have stressed the need for party workers to maintain a sustained connection with the grassroots and to actively address the issues faced by the public through political outreach.
