Hyderabad: AICC in charge Meenakshi Natarajan and TPCC SIR training committee chairperson T Ram Mohan Reddy on Sunday directed party leaders, booth-level agents and cadres to go all out to help voters submit proof to address anomalies flagged during the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls.“Anomalies in voters’ names and spellings are likely to be flagged by the ECI in large numbers, with notices issued to affected voters. Helping and guiding them on the documents required as proof of identity and eligibility must be a top priority. This is a crucial phase, and every Congress leader must ensure that genuine voters’ names are retained on the rolls,” Ram Mohan Reddy told party leaders, BLAs and cadres.Meenakshi Natarajan urged senior party leaders to devote at least three days a week to party work and extend all possible help to people during the second phase of the SIR.“The meetings discussed the ongoing SIR, with a focus on strengthening coordination, ensuring eligible voters are not left out and supporting citizens throughout the revision process. Organisational and political matters were also discussed, and the party’s grassroots-level preparedness and coordination reviewed,” said Khairatabad district Congress committee president Motha Rohith.
