Varanasi: The second meeting of ‘Med-Tech Samvad’ was held on Friday at IIT-BHU, bringing together leading academicians, clinicians, and researchers to promote dialogue and collaboration in the field of medical technology and healthcare innovation.BHU vice chancellor Prof Ajit Kumar Chaturvedi emphasised the need for stronger synergy between IIT-BHU and IMS-BHU to develop indigenous medical technologies that can benefit society at large. A special highlight of the event was the felicitation of Padma Shri awardee Prof Shyam Sundar, professor of Internal Medicine at IMS, BHU. Prof Sundar shared valuable insights on the evolving landscape of medical technology and underscored the importance of innovation, collaboration, and translational research in improving healthcare delivery.
