Dimapur: Joint secretary, ministry of development of the north eastern region (MDoNER), Vipul Aggarwal, on Wednesday sought a clarification from the Nagaland govt on several critical projects, including a 50-bed hospital at the new district headquarters in Peren, a multi-speciality hospital at Chumoukedima and indoor and outdoor stadium facilities at Peren Govt College.Aggarwal sought the details at a meeting held to review the progress and implementation of projects under the Prime Minister’s Development Initiative for North East Region (PM-DevINE) and other MDoNER schemes.He urged the state to submit its priority projects for consideration by the 16th Finance Commission by the end of Oct, saying liabilities under the 14th and 15th Finance Commissions would not be carried forward to the 17th Finance Commission.
