New Delhi: Max Healthcare Foundation has expanded the intake of its Max Medical Scholarship Programme from 100 to up to 250 new students this year.

The healthcare major said the scholarship will fully fund the medical education of up to 250 new students this year who have qualified for the NEET examination and secured admission to the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) program in government medical colleges across Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Nagpur, Lucknow, Mohali, Dehradun, Bathinda and Bhubaneswar for this academic year.

The registrations for the scholarship will open from September 16. Selected students will be granted financial assistance for the duration of their 5-year MBBS course, Max added.

Taruna Soi, Chairperson, Max Healthcare Foundation, said “Over the past three years, the Max Medical Scholarship Programme has supported 245 students in pursuing their medical education. This year, we are significantly expanding the programme to support up to 250 new students, enabling many more deserving students to pursue their dream of becoming doctors without the burden of financial constraints.”
