LUCKNOW: A massive fire broke out at a restaurant in Lucknow’s Khurram Nagar area on Friday afternoon, triggering a large-scale search and rescue operation.The blaze erupted at Vijay Paradise, prompting fire and emergency personnel to rush to the spot. Officials at the site said some employees are feared trapped inside the restaurant premises, and rescue efforts are underway.The incident comes amid a series of recent fire accidents in the city. Last week, a devastating blaze at a commercial building in Aliganj claimed the lives of 15 youngsters, left nine others injured and killed at least six pet animals in one of Lucknow’s worst fire tragedies in recent years.Earlier, on June 29, a major fire broke out near Tedhi Puliya in the Vikas Nagar area along Kursi Road. Fire and Emergency Services personnel responded swiftly to contain the blaze, while nearby shops were evacuated as a precaution.
