KOLKATA: Maruti Suzuki plans to set up around 500 service touchpoints in 2025-26, taking the total number to around 6,000. At present, the automaker has 40,000 service bays across 2,764 cities and towns. They have a capacity to service 3 crore vehicles in a year.Maruti Suzuki India Ltd MD & CEO Hisashi Takeuchi said, “One of the key factors most customers consider when purchasing a new car is the availability of a proximate and convenient service workshop, one that offers genuine and reliable service at a reasonable price, giving them total peace of mind. In 2024-25, we added 460 new service touchpoints, which is more than one every single day. We plan to continue these efforts and aim to add around 500 new service touchpoints during this financial year, of which we have already set up 91 touchpoints.” In 2024-25, Maruti Suzuki serviced over 2.7 crore vehicles, the highest ever in a financial year. In May 2025, the carmaker achieved a new milestone, servicing over 24.5 lakh vehicles in a single month, the highest ever in its history. That translated to 170 vehicles serviced and delivered per minute or 3 vehicles per second across its network!
