Imphal: Manipur CM Yumnam Khemchand Singh, accompanied by his two deputy CMs, NPF’s Losii Dikho and BJP’s Nemcha Kipgen, called on Union home minister Amit Shah on Sunday afternoon at his residence in New Delhi.This is the first meeting between Khemchand and Shah after the former took over as the CM on Feb 4.
According to a statement from the CM’s office, Shah discussed steps to be taken up by the new govt to remove barriers between different communities and assured the Manipur leaders of all possible help from the Centre to bring peace and normalcy back in the state.
