Garhwa: A 20-year-old man was killed when his bike was hit by a speeding truck from behind on Garhwa-Ambikapur road under Ranka police station limits of the district on Thursday. The incident took place near Jhamelwa village, the police said.
The deceased, identified as Subhash Kumar Ravi (20), a resident of Uchri village, was travelling to Tatapani in Chhattisgarh. Ravi succumbed to his injuries on the way to Garhwa sadar hospital. “The body of the deceased was handed over to the kin after the postmortem examination,” said a police official.
