Daltonganj: A 55-year-old man was injured after being hit by a freight train between Daltonganj and Chiyanki railway stations under East Central Railway’s Dhanbad division early Friday.Daltonganj railway station superintendent Umesh Kumar said the man sustained injuries to his hand and thigh. Railway sources said the incident occurred on the down line.Locals rushed the injured man to a nearby private health centre. RPF personnel said his identity and other details were yet to be ascertained. Officials were awaiting further information from the spot.
