Varanasi: Mirzamurad police on Monday arrested a man for allegedly riding a motorcycle negligently in kanwariya lane leading to an argument.A team from Mirzamurad police station, led by sub-inspector Pawan Kumar Yadav, was patrolling the kanwariya lane and checking suspicious persons and vehicles. Near the Radha-Krishna Temple, the team found a motorcycle rider, Shubham Pal, 22, a resident of Vikrampur village under Aurai police station limits in Sant Ravidas Nagar (Bhadohi) district, allegedly riding negligently and arguing with kanwariyas on the route, said police.Police said the team tried to pacify and counsel him, but he allegedly refused to follow instructions and became agitated, creating a possibility of breach of peace. Apprehending disturbance to law and order, police arrested him and initiated further legal action.
