Kendrapada: The ad hoc additional district and sessions judge and special judge, fast track special court (FTSC), Jajpur, on Saturday sentenced a 37-year-old man to 20 years’ imprisonment for kidnapping and repeatedly raping a 16-year-old minor girl nine years ago. The convict was also fined Rs 50,000. In default of payment, he will undergo an additional one year of imprisonment. The court further directed the Odisha State Legal Services Authority (OSLSA) to pay Rs 1 lakh as compensation to the victim.
