Tirupur: A body of a man was found near Avinashi in Tirupur district on Thursday morning.The deceased was subsequently identified as D Sagayaraj, 51, of Soolai Maruthi Nagar near Avinashi. He was employed at a garment unit in Chinneripalayam. He is survived by his wife and two children. Some locals spotted the body near Chinneripalayam in the early hours of Thursday and alerted the police. Avinashi police recovered the body and sent it to the Tirupur Medical College Hospital for a postmortem.During inquiry, it was revealed that he had left home on Wednesday night and did not return. Meanwhile, police have registered a murder case on suspicion that he was beaten to death. Further probe is on.
