Srinagar, Sep 30 : A 35-year-old man was found dead inside his rented accommodation in the Alikadal area of central Kashmir’s Srinagar district, officials said on Wednesday.
An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that the man was found unconscious at his rented accommodation in the Bodgair area of Alikadal, Srinagar.
He said police soon arrived at the spot, took the body into custody and shifted him to the hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead on arrival. The deceased was identified as Mohammad Shakoor (35), son of Gh Hussain, a resident of Thana Mandi, Rajouri.
Meanwhile, cognisance of the incident has been taken and a probe is underway.—(KNO)
