Poonch, Aug 31: A man died after coming in contact with an electric wire in the Lassana area of Surankote in Poonch district on Monday, officials said.
An official told news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that the man came in contact with an electric wire and suffered a severe electric shock.
He was subsequently shifted to a hospital, where doctors declared him dead. The deceased was identified as Ibrar Manhas, a resident of Surankote.
A police team reached the spot and initiated necessary proceedings.—(KNO)
