Hyderabad: A 30-year-old man is suspected of drowning his two children in the Nizamsagar project in Kamareddy on Thursday night, before taking his own life. Kamareddy police reported that the bodies of the man and his children, an eight-year-old and a five-year-old, were discovered on Friday morning by the Disaster Response Force and local fishermen.The man, identified as Krishna, is a resident of Patancheru and had captured photos and videos of himself playing with his children, which he later shared with a relative. He subsequently left an audio message with the same relative, informing about his decision to take the extreme step.When Krishna’s relatives arrived at the scene, they found his parked bike and the footwear of Krishna and his children. However, due to the darkness, they were unable to locate the missing individuals.Banswada rural police informed TOI on Friday that investigations revealed Krishna had gone to the middle of the water, where he allegedly pushed his children, leading to their drowning. He then reportedly took his own life. “Marital disputes are suspected to be the motive behind Krishna’s actions, and he was reportedly unemployed,” said police.
