Prayagraj: A social media user Shailesh was booked for allegedly threatening Abhilasha Gupta, former mayor and wife of state cabinet minister, and uploading objectionable remarks on her social media account.A joint team of Kotwali police, SOG and Cyber Cell are tracking the location of the user. He was booked under section 351(4) of BNS and section 66 of the IT Act. The FIR was registered with Kotwali police on the complaint of the media adviser of the former mayor.A senior cop said that the joint team is investigating the case and action would be taken accordingly. He added, “A social media user named Shailesh Srivastava allegedly posted objectionable remarks on a Facebook post by the former mayor, and cops are tracking his location.” tnn
