Nagpur: A man was allegedly assaulted by his wife and brother-in-law with a wooden stick following a domestic dispute in Jaitala on Wednesday.MIDC police registered an FIR against the woman and her brother, Monu Kodape, based on a complaint filed by Amol Jawali, 35, a resident of Bhange Layout.According to the complaint, Jawali went to his wife’s maternal grandmother’s house, where she had been staying since the Ganpati festival, to bring her home. When she refused to return, an argument broke out. He alleged that the two abused him before striking him on the head with a wooden stick, causing injuries.Police said Jawali runs a laundry business. His first wife had died, and he has a son from that marriage who studies at an ashram school in Akola. The accused are yet to be arrested.
