Kanpur: A man was arrested for allegedly raping a seven-year-old girl on Sunday.A case was registered after the girl’s father filed a report on Tuesday at Juhi police station. Police arrested the accused and sent him to jail after presenting him in the court on Wednesday.In his complaint, the girl’s father said that the girl was playing outside house around 6 pm on Saturday when his neighbour lured her to his house and raped her. He threatened the girl to kill her if she told anyone about the crime. The terrified girl did not tell anyone at home and went to sleep.On Monday morning, when her mother took her for a bath, she noticed blood stains on her clothes. When she questioned the girl, she burst into tears and told her about the accused.Juhi police station in-charge Krishna Kumar Patel stated that a report has been registered against the accused under rape and Pocso Act.
