Times News NetworkKanpur: Kakadev police in Kanpur arrested wanted accused Bilal Salmani alias Sameer on Tuesday for allegedly establishing sexual relations on the false promise of marriage, along with extortion and criminal intimidation. Police said the FIR also includes charges of intentional insult and sections of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act.A team led by Kakadev station house officer Dharmendra Kumar Ram arrested Bilal, originally from Dhaurara Khurd village in Faradhan police station area of Lakhimpur Kheri.He was living in a rented house belonging to Rahul Mishra near Max Ice Cream in Shastri Nagar. Bilal was produced before a court and sent to jail.
