JAIPUR: A family dispute turned fatal in Rajasthan’s Banswara on Saturday when a man allegedly killed his mother-in-law in the Housing Board area, police said.The deceased was identified as Lalita. According to her daughter Laxmi, her husband had a dispute with her mother and allegedly killed her over the issue.The accused fled the spot after the incident, police said. An object allegedly used in the crime and the key to his motorcycle were recovered from the scene.Laxmi fainted after learning about the incident and was taken to a hospital for treatment.Superintendent of Police Sudhir Joshi, along with other senior police officers, reached the spot after being informed about the incident. A forensic team also examined the scene and collected evidence.Police said efforts were underway to trace the accused. The circumstances of the killing and the motive behind it are being investigated.
