Lucknow: Lucknow University directed all affiliated colleges to apply for renewal of their undergraduate and postgraduate courses, while asking new colleges to apply for affiliation to run courses as per state govt’s schedule for obtaining a no-objection certificate.

“UP govt issued a revised timetable for online processing of NOC and affiliation proposals for 2026–27 session for new courses/subjects (excluding BEd) in new or existing colleges. Feb 18 is last date to submit NOC proposals for new courses to be offered by a college,” said LU spokesperson Mukul Srivastava.

He said for opening new colleges, revenue department would be verifying land records for proposals submitted online to the university by Feb 22. NOC orders will be issued online by Feb 28. Srivastava said it was mandatory for all proposed new colleges and existing colleges seeking NOC/affiliation for new courses to complete applications and further proceedings as per the timetable on govt’s NOC/affiliation portal: henoc.upsdc.gov.in.He added that colleges in Lucknow, Hardoi, Rae Bareli, Sitapur and Lakhimpur Kheri affiliated with LU, whose affiliation for courses (other than BEd) was set to end on Jun 1, were also directed to apply for permanent affiliation from the 2026–27 academic session, in line with govt order.Srivastava said affiliated colleges must obtain a board of inspection through an online application on henoc.upsdc.gov.in.
