Jammu, Sep 13: The All Jammu and Kashmir Low Paid Employees Federation held a provincial-level meeting at the residence of late Comrade K. D. Sethi at Wazarat Road here to discuss key issues concerning employees and chalk out future strategies.

The meeting was chaired by Provincial President Jammu Tasavar Hussain Shah, along with Kashmir Provincial President Javied H. Shah. Senior members of the federation and provincial representatives from Poonch, Rajouri, Reasi, Udhampur, Kathua, Basohli, Doda and Kishtwar participated in the meeting.

Among those present were Kabla Singh, S. Jagjit Singh Awal, Anil Kumar Verma, Ishar Dass Sangra, Yougal Sharma, Amrik Singh, Jaleel Khawaja, Asrar Ali Pathan, Amar Nath and Harbushan, besides other members.

The meeting primarily focused on the demand for Medical Allowance for employees and the need for a fair and transparent Annual Transfer Drive (ATD).

After detailed deliberations, the members resolved to strengthen unity among employees and work collectively to pursue their common causes and legitimate demands.

The meeting concluded with a commitment to remain united and continue raising employees’ issues through a common platform.
