Buxar: Police seized two country-made pistols, one country-made rifle, seven live cartridges and 1,311 litres of Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) from a hut near Nihalpur Pond under Sikraul police station area in Buxar, Dumraon SDPO Polast Kumar said on Sunday. The SDPO said police had received specific information that some people had stockpiled a large quantity of liquor near Nihalpur Pond for sale ahead of Holi. The presence of weapons was also suspected. Acting on the tip-off, the Buxar SP formed a team under the SDPO’s leadership to verify the input and take necessary action.
