Srinagar, Oct 24: Jammu and Kashmir is likely to witness generally cloudy weather with brief spells of light rain and light snow in many districts of the Kashmir Division and a few districts of the Jammu Division on Saturday, the Meteorological Centre Srinagar said.
According to the latest weather forecast, a brief spell of light rain is possible in a few districts towards the afternoon of October 25.
The weather is expected to remain generally dry from October 26 to 30, while cloudy conditions may develop towards October 31.
The Meteorological Centre has forecast generally cloudy weather with light rain and light snow over higher reaches at a few places from November 1 to 3.
Similar conditions are likely to continue on November 4 and 5, with light rain and light snow possible at a few places, particularly over higher reaches.
Meanwhile, the Meteorological Centre has advised farmers to continue harvesting and other agricultural operations.
The advisory comes as weather conditions are expected to remain mostly dry through the latter part of October, with isolated precipitation likely during the forecast periods.
