Says by 2047, India will be developed & spiritually empowered
JAMMU, FEB 20: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Friday said India must strive to become the world’s preeminent nation, a formidable global power and the ultimate centre of knowledge, as he attended the Mahayagya and Prana-Pratishtha ceremony at Shri Lakshminarayan Temple in Bankatashiv, Deoria district of Uttar Pradesh.
Addressing devotees at the historic temple site, Sinha described the ceremony as a symbol of “civilisational revival” and said such occasions help revitalise timeless values and strengthen cultural consciousness across society.
“We must transform India into the preeminent nation of the world, forge it into the most formidable global power, and establish it as the ultimate sanctuary of knowledge and intellectual wealth,” he said.
Emphasising the role of citizens, the Lieutenant Governor said every Indian must honour the country’s glorious heritage with responsibility. The devotion that safeguarded India’s culture through adversity, he added, should now guide the younger generation in converting the wisdom of the past into strength for the present.
Sinha said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India is witnessing not only rapid economic growth but also a broader civilizational awakening.
He asserted that the world now acknowledges India as an emerging global power, strengthened by inclusive development, technological advancement and world-class infrastructure.
“We have entered an era where fresh energy is driving progress in every sector, alongside a renaissance of spiritual and cultural consciousness,” he said.
The Lieutenant Governor expressed confidence that the Shri Lakshminarayan Temple would inspire youth to take pride in their heritage while contributing to nation-building.
He said the India envisioned for 2047, when the country marks 100 years of Independence, would be economically strong, spiritually enriched and culturally self-assured.
