Srinagar, Sept 20:Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Sunday expressed grief over the untimely demise of journalist Payal Mehta.
In a post on X, Sinha said he was saddened to hear about Mehta’s passing and remembered her for her deep ground-level reporting and kindness.
“Known for her deep ground-level reporting and immense kindness, she leaves behind a lasting legacy in journalism,” the LG said.
Sinha conveyed his thoughts and prayers to the bereaved family and colleagues of the journalist. “Om Shanti,” he said.
