Prayagraj: A leopard spotted near residential areas of Sarayinayat on Wednesday sparked panic among residents. A CCTV footage showed a leopard roaming in a small lane on Wednesday. Subsequently locals informed the officials of forest department. The locals handed over the footage to the forest department team following which, a search operation was launched.The leopard was spotted roaming near Dhanaicha Malkhanpur lane and was captured in a CCTV footage. The incident puzzled locals in Katwarupur, Sudnipur, Baraipur, Kotwa, and Lilapur villages. Officials of forest department said that they have been looking into the case.
