Buxar: Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), Buxar, on Monday launched a 15-day certificate course on Integrated Nutrient Management to train farmers and agriculture professionals in scientific nutrient and soil management practices. The programme, being held from Aug 17 to Sept 3, has 40 participants and includes 32 theoretical and 12 practical sessions.The training covers nutrient identification, soil health, balanced fertiliser use, natural farming and crop nutrition. Experts from ICAR institutes, agricultural universities and KVKs will conduct the sessions. At the inaugural programme, speakers stressed the importance of soil health, scientific fertiliser application and sustainable farming practices for improving crop productivity and ensuring long-term environmental sustainability.
