Thiruvananthapuram: Following criticisms, state govt postponed the interview scheduled for the selection of candidate for post of executive vice-president of Kerala State Council for Science, Technology and Environment. The interview was scheduled for April 25.Opposition leader V D Satheesan requested chief election officer (CEO) to postpone the interview procedures. The official notification regarding this was communicated to the applicants on Friday by the secretary of the interview committee, who is also higher education secretary.Satheesan requested CEO to defer the interview procedures, stating that it wasn’t appropriate to conduct them while the election code of conduct was in effect and should be postponed until the election process was complete. Kerala State Planning Board had issued the notification for the appointment on March 2.
