Hyderabad: Congress MLA Komatireddy Raj Gopal Reddy on Saturday met AICC leader Rahul Gandhi in New Delhi and reportedly urged him to provide him a cabinet berth.Aspirants have been going to Delhi to lobby for cabinet berths as there are expectations that the two vacant berths in the cabinet are likely to be filled up by the month-end. Congress legislators Malreddy Ranga Reddy, T Ram Mohan Reddy, assembly speaker Gaddam Prasad Kumar and other leaders have recently met Rahul Gandhi and Mallikarjun Kharge, urging to consider them for a cabinet berth.On Saturday, Komatireddy Raj Gopal posted a photo of his meeting with Rahul Gandhi on X. Sources said he urged the AICC leader to honour the alleged commitment given to him of a cabinet berth, when he came back into the Congress from the BJP before the 2023 assembly elections.
