Srinagar, Jun 25: Aiming to provide affordable dining and accessible eye-care services under one roof, Kashmir Medical College and Hospital (KMCH), Sempora, on Thursday inaugurated a new café and optical unit within its campus.
The two vital facilities were inaugurated by Managing Director KMCH, Tausif Ahmad, and Executive Director KMCH, Insha Qazi, in the presence of Principal KMCH Prof. Nazir Ahmad Khan, heads of departments, faculty members, doctors, administrative staff and staff members.
As part of the initiative, Ritual Express Café opened its branch at the hospital premises. The café offers an economical menu catering to the needs of patients, attendants and hospital staff. The menu includes tea, butter toast, biryani, fried rice, fresh juices, shakes, coffee, and a variety of other food items prepared under hygienic conditions.
Speaking on the occasion, proprietor of Ritual Express, said that the café aims to provide quality food at affordable prices while maintaining high standards of hygiene and service. He emphasized that proper nutrition plays an important role in overall health and well-being.
The Managing Director and Executive Director also inaugurated a new branch of Bonton Optics, one of Kashmir’s leading optical companies. With the launch of its new outlet at KMCH, the company aims to make quality vision accessible to all.
