A divisional-level khadi seminar will be organised under the aegis of the UP Khadi and Village Industries Board (Kanpur Division) at Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University on Saturday.A part of the ‘Scheme for Research, Design, Standardization, and Promotion of Khadi,’ the seminar aims to promote khadi as an eco-friendly, indigenous, natural, and sustainable fabric, said district gramodyog officer Ashok Kumar Sharma.Cabinet minister Rakesh Sachan (MSME, khadi & village industries) will be the the chief guest of the event. Divisional-level village industry awards will be given to entrepreneurs for outstanding work, said Sharma.
