Thiruvananthapuram: Vizhinjam police arrested a man for violating an externment order issued under Kerala Anti-Social Activities (Prevention) Act (Kaapa) on Wednesday.The accused Rajesh alias Koralan had earlier been externed from Thiruvananthapuram city police limits under a Kaapa order issued by city police commissioner K Karthik. Acting on a confidential information, police found that Rajesh re-entered the city limits and was consuming alcohol with a friend within the jurisdiction. He was produced before court. Police said further legal proceedings were under way. Officials added that fresh Kaapa proceedings would be initiated and he would be sent to jail.
