Srinagar, Aug 02: The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has announced the examination schedule for several posts in the Home Department, including Sub-Inspector and Constable, with computer-based written examinations set to commence from November 29, 2026.

According to a notification issued by the JKSSB, the examinations will be conducted in online Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode for various posts advertised under different recruitment notifications.

The written examination for the Sub-Inspector post, advertised under Notification No. 02 of 2024 (Item No. 07), will be held on November 29.

The examination for Constable (Executive) posts, advertised under Notification No. 12 of 2025 (Item Nos. 273 and 274), has been scheduled for December 13, while the test for Constable (Armed/IRP/SDRF) posts under Notification No. 14 of 2025 (Item Nos. 323 and 324) will be conducted on December 20.

The Board has also fixed December 23 for the examination of Sub-Inspector (Telecommunication), advertised under Notification No. 11 of 2025 (Item No. 272).

Similarly, the examinations for Constable (Telecommunication) and Constable (Photographer), both notified under Notification No. 15 of 2025, will be held on December 27 and December 30, respectively.

JKSSB said admit cards for all examinations will be made available seven days prior to the respective examination dates. Candidates have been advised to regularly visit the Board’s official website for updates, admit card downloads, and other important instructions related to the recruitment process.
