Hazaribag: Police seized a 12-wheeler truck carrying Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) worth around Rs 70-80 lakh near Jharkhand Hotel at Jhurjhuri in Barkatha block on Saturday and arrested its driver, Daljit Singh (38), a resident of Subhash Colony in Rudrapur, Uttarakhand.Barhi SDPO Radha Prem Kishore said the raid was conducted after the Prohibition and State Narcotics Control Bureau in Patna alerted police about a suspicious truck parked in the area for several hours.The cartons bore Chandigarh stickers.The accused was sent to judicial custody. Police said they are investigating the liquor supply chain and trying to identify those involved in its distribution.
