Kanpur: District magistrate Jitendra Pratap Singh performed the ritualistic “Jalabhishek”(water consecration) of the sacred idol of Lord Ram at Ram Janki Temple located at Sarsaiya Ghat on the auspicious day of Ram Navami on Friday.On the occasion, he extended his best wishes for the happiness, prosperity, and well-being of the residents of the district.Extending his heartfelt greetings to all the residents of the district on the occasion of Ram Navami, the district magistrate said, “The life of Lord Shri Ram inspires us to uphold dignity, truth, devotion to duty, and high ideals.
