Kolkata: A Public Interest Litigation (PIL), seeking restriction on outsiders’ entry into Jadavpur University campus, is likely to be heard by the division bench of Chief Justice Ravindra Vithalrao Ghuge on Wednesday.The matter was mentioned before the division bench of Justice Arijit Banerjee, citing urgency. Though the matter has been pending for a year, it was repeatedly mentioned after the incident of vandalism at the university, where a group reportedly entered the campus around midnight on Aug 20, threatened students and set flags on fire.
