President Donald Trump issued an executive order aimed at updating federal guidelines regarding childhood vaccine recommendations to encourage the spacing of vaccinations. Social media users directed significant attention towards Jayme Franklin, a former staff member of Trump, who was positioned behind him in the Oval Office and was seen nodding repeatedly during the announcement.

Online commentators ridiculed Franklin’s incessant nodding and demeanor, giving her the nickname “bobble head” and questioning her role at the signing event.
Jayme Franklin faces online backlash and mockery
“It’s a three ring circus between bobble head bimbo, babbling Bobby and Sleepy Don!” one X user posted. Another asked, “Who is this young woman holding her belly as Trump is sleeping and why is she there?”
“Claims she has a button fitted on her belly, and when she gets the nod that he’s asleep she moves her hand and presses a button that wakes him. They’re calling her The Zapper. No idea if it’s true but it *appears* to line up,” a third X user wrote.

Kush Desai, a spokesman for the White House, remarked that Franklin represented parents whose apprehensions regarding vaccines have been overlooked, while also defending the administration’s stance on the matter.
‘I’m just pregnant,’ Jayme Franklin reacts
Franklin was shocked by the strange theories circulating that connected her hand on her belly to the idea of pressing a button to awaken Trump during the press conference. In response, she quote-tweeted one of these posts and disclosed that she is expecting a child.
“I’m just pregnant you weirdos,” she wrote, adding laughing and crying emojis.
